Saturday evening, Ron and I went to hear the Budapest Sirens’ Spring Concert. They are an international women’s group of a capella vocalists. For 750 Huf each, we were entertained for an hour by 8 lovely ladies who enchanted us with their gifted voices and fun body movements in time to the music. Drawing on primarily US oldies, they sang their hearts out for our pure delight. If you ever get a chance to attend one of their concerts, I recommend it. You can see one of their songs performed here.
The dynamics of the group changes as people come to Budapest or return to their home country. Their Canadian singer will be leaving them shortly.
