Last week, I went to a camera store for rechargeable batteries and passed by this restaurant that had ice cream cone shaped things in the window. With no ice cream in sight, ti turns out these are filled with toppings and sold as pizza cones.
What fun I said to myself and myself agreed we would need to return with Ron really soon. Last night, we had pizza cones for dinner. What looks like a cone is really funnel shaped pizza crust. With our choices of two chicken, one Hungarian, and one Hawaiian we were ready to watch what happened next.
Each cone is jam-packed with ingredients. When all four were filled, they are put on a conveyor belt and sent through a cone shaped entry way in an oven to rotate at a very slow speed. When they emerge via the second cone shaped doorway, they are cooked through and piping hot. At 490 Ft a piece, it was a cheap dinner. All I can say is YUMMY! We will be back. The woman said they have been open since April. I cannot imagine why I have never noticed them before, but they are on my radar now.
