Been There, Done That

Been

Been here and left our mark

While updating our travel map by adding Verona to it, I discovered we have made it to about 256 cities. I know I have since forgotten some in Chile, Peru, and Argentina from years back. There were some smaller towns that were not even eligible to be added. This is a program limitation, not my neglect.

We have been to 6 continents. For those of you who passed geography, I will not need to tell you which continent(s) we have not visited. The (s) is for those who have not passed geography or need a brush up.

Want to go

Want to go and will soon

There are currently only 8 cities on our ‘want to go list’. We have never been to these cities before, together, other than an airport stop. I will place bets no one can identify all 8 of them.

After completing my Ed.D., the frustration of finding a teaching position where I was willing to live, led to Ron and I leaving the country. We intended to travel for a year before settling somewhere in MA or RI.

We left the US without any credit card debt, no car payments and our house mortgage paid by renters. We had $10,000 in the bank to make our way through a year.

  1. It is a fairly safe bet. Although I am curious, I won’t even attempt to identify the eight cities as the chances of success are slimmer than the likelihood of winning the lottery jackpot.

    • Coward, you should at least give it a shot!
